I use warm salt water about 1 tsp to 8 oz water and gargle. You need to see a doctor strep throat can cause heart and joint problems left untreated and the only way to tell is with a culture but not being able to swallow is a big sign

If its hard for you to swallow, it may not be just a sore throat, it could be strep. Did you do to your Dr? He may want to swab it (throat culture) to see if you need antibiotics. Also, an old remedy of my mothers gargle with warm water and salt--it works!! Feel better!

Put around 1 tbsp of salt in an 8ou glass and fill it with warm water and gargle all of it!! U can also try making tea and cover ur head with a towel and inhale the steam from the tea. Hope this helps and u feel better soon..
