Microsoft Office is not included in the standard Windows installation. If you own the CD install it off of that, otherwise, download OpenOffice.org from http://www.openoffice.org/ It is, in my opinion, a better software suite (in large part because it is open source and has large community support). It includes all the same types of programs that MS Office has and is 100% free and open source.

There is the possibility that MS Office was also included with your software package if you had a manufactured proprietary computer like HP or Gateway. Then you actually won't have a seperate disc for MS Office. In that case you would have to perform a system restore from the "Restore CD". To do that, you usually have to leave the "Restore CD" in the drive and shut down the computer. When you restart it will come up with the options on its own.

You need to manually install MS Office which is easy. Just pop in your MS Office disk. If you don't have that then you gotta go find one. Maybe it's on the software that came with your computer or maybe you can snag a copy from other places. Once you pop it in, it's all automated.

MS Office is not part of Windows. You have to purchase and install it separately. If you formatted the hard drive, you will have to find your Office CD and reinstall the program.

If you format your computer, all of your data and application will be deleted. Buy Microsoft Office CD, or download from internet (but it takes a lot of time). If you have it, just double click file: "setup.exe".
Good luck

You will need to find your original office CD and install it with that, if you don't have that we can only assume that you had a pirated copy.
