Frankly 'if he is a friend' he will accept your honesty as well as your moral values.
Explain diplomatically that you do not agree with his values and you would not wish to be involved in such a situation due to the fact that 'if' he did meet such a person, that individual would most probably become your friend too and in all conscience you could not deceive some-one like that.

Another question you should ask your-self is, should you continue to see this person? If they do meet some-one you will always be asking yourself 'are they with them for the right reasons'?
Therefore, there will always be an element of doubt from now on!!!
Is it worth it?

support him and his decisions, let him explore and decide if it was a good or bad idea for himself. warn him ONLY ONCE, say 'do u think its good idea to want someone only for their money?' he'll think about it but i think he will still be looking.

if things dont work out for him, remind him that u warned but also stick by him and show u still care.
good luck.

Tell him what you think, any good friend will list but don't neccessary take up on what you say. But they do take into considerations. Better to be honest than pretend.

Let him make his own mistakes!
All you can do as a friend is talk and let him know you don't think its a good idea, ultimately its his life.

well let him no that really it isn't rite to date somone only for money and that it is his decision weather u tell him or not. just tell him u r there for him and that u were just tellin him how feel bout it. if he doesn't understand he must have a prob.

it's better than looking for a poor, down and out gay man, support him if it's what he wants to do

thats his choice, you can't make him follow the right moral path, but you can as his friend let him know your moral opinion on the issue. if he doesn't like the answer then I'd tell him not to bring up anymore moral subjects to you.

I would say...."Well, good luck with that." Then say nothing more. It sounds like your friend just wants attention.
