Well I fell very patri-erotic and my flag pole is waiting for this flag to be raised upon it.

Makes me want to stand up and salute!

I guess I never saw the big deal with all this getting upset over 'misuses' of the flag. I was in the military, and still have a very strong emotional response to the raising of the flag and the playing of the anthem.

For those that burn the flag and otherwise show deliberate disrespect to it, I pity them for their silliness. IMO, just like an unblessed communion wafer is just a meaningless round piece of baked unlevened flour, a US flag abused by protesters and other idiots has no meaning. It's just an inanimate and piece of woven material that they have invested with no meaning.

That's why I laugh at flag burners for being the pyromaniac idiots they are.

All I can think is that the way it's starting to creep in the back, she must have massive Moose-knuckle in the front. I have nothing against wearing clothing that looks like the flag to show your pride in this country, but for God's sake, make it something in your size!

I don't think that is really appropriate. I don't mind bathing suits that look similar to the flag but something that looks just like it and on your butt just seems a bit disrespectful. Besides it could offend some people and if you are truly patriotic American you will not want to offend your fellow Americans or the Veterans who fought so that we can be free to wave that flag.

Well, I'll tell you what: if I read you right, your point is well taken.

Wearing the American flag on your a s s seems more disrespectual to me than seeing the Mexican flag passionately being displayed by a Mexican national here in the states, or to see it displayed in their cars; or to see it as an ICON decorating the wall of a Mexican establishment.

Alternatively, here, she letting it ride her a. s. s! I don't see the usual whiners telling the owner of this a s s off!

Under flag protocols it is disrespectful. When the anti-war protesters did it in the Viet Nam era, they intended it to be. Now it is a nostalgia fashion to that time and most don't even think about it. They think they are being patriotic by wearing it.

It is against flag protocol, but since it is done by people who mean well, I don't mind it that much. (I don't mind it at all on a shirt or bandana. On her butt seems out of place.)

We know when someone is trying to be insulting.

Its just a fashion statement. My friend has a american flag bikini, and nothing is wrong with it. If anything, you are just showing your patriotism for the american flag by wearing it.

That's a representation of an American flag, not an actual flag.

People do such things all the time, but as far as my own opinion, I believe it is a misrepresentation of our flag.

My ex girlfriend could have fitted all the stars and all the stripes on her behind, maybe the flagpole to. I could live with this little cutey though. It`s not in bad taste in my opinion.
