I think that you are in 7th grade and should be worrying about more important things then your looks. I know jr high and highschool can be tough because other people can be mean. If you don't fit into the popular look then you can get picked on. Believe me, I went through it. But you need to learn to not worry about what other people think about you. You have to have confidence in yourself. As long as you know that you are a good person, then who cares what others think especially people who dont take the time to get to know you. if they did, they would change their story.
either which way, you are way too young to be worried about if you are fat or not. If you want to be healthy then start exercising. go bike riding, running, swimming, some kind of healthy activity. Also, losing 20 lbs in 12 days is very unhealthy. You should lose 10 lbs in a month if you want to shed weight the healthy way. you can change your eating and exercising habits, but NEVER NEVER starve yourself or make yourself puke.
Sorry to go on a rant, but the youth today just seems to have a very unhealthy obsession with looks.

My dear, You may not be fat, but you are definitely overweight. There is no safe way to lose 20 pounds in 12 days. You can lose a bit by eating only fruits and vegetables -- no nuts, bread, or cereals for a period, but be sure you take vitamins. Drink only water -- a least eight glasses a day. Tone down any chubbiness with good exercise. Walk at least an hour a day -- preferably up hill. As you do, swing your arms (carry small weights in your hands to use more energy and tone your muscles). Good luck to you.

You need a healthy lifestyle. Eat small amounts every few hours and exercise. Get into a habit you can maintain. Cycling three times a week is excellent exercise. As far as dropping 20 lbs in 10 days, you may be able to drop a lot of that by eating raw fruits and veggies and dairy with a 4 oz cut of meat every day and exercise but it wouldn't be a healthy weight loss. Drink LOTS of water.

No, that's a healthy weight. Even if it wasn't, it's extremely unhealthy to lose 1. 20 lb.s (or any weight) when you're still an adolescent and 2. in 12 DAYs.
Talk to your doctor about it. Get a teen health book out from the library. Good luck.

That is a tad much for being so young and only being 5'1. However sweetie, u cannot lose 20lbs in 12 days. If u did you would become extremely malnourished and be in the hospital. If u want to lose weight, the best thing for you to do is exercise and eat right. Cut out all junk food and eat pleanty of fruits and veggies.
p.s. Make sure ur losing the weight for urself....not to please someone else.
Don't listen to Serfa^.

If you loose 20 pounds in 12 days..it would be the most unhealthy way of doing it and this way you can lose vital minerals of the body and instead of fat you could lose muscle weight too.So, my suggestion is do it slowly..adopt a healthy eating routine, eat lots of protein, less fat and lot of fibre in your diet. Don't forget to drink atleast 8 glasses of water a day and follow a strict exercise regimen. And before you know it...it'll be gone.Good luck to you :-)

It can definitely be an overwhelming feeling that you have to be petite and toned. But in all actualty you can not lose 20lbs in 12 days and be okay. Thats more unhealthy than the current condition your in. If you just commit yourself to some type of routine, and you really have to stick to it, running, biking, kickboxing, walking, first off youll start to notice you feel a little more confident that your doing something with yourself. Youll start to see that your thinning and getting more toned. and with everyone suggesting that you restrict your diet to fruits and veggies, thats good to add to your day, but you can eat everyting you eat now just control how much, cut everything you have now in half. the most important thing is to stay commited. good luck and it is very possible to feel great about your weight.

Hi
This plan worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

You are overweight. By simply changing your diet from white breads and pasta to whole wheat and grain, you can lose a lot of weight. I suggest getting the book "Sanoma Diet" and follow the diet plan and recipes. They are actually really good. The meals are pretty gourmet, tastes great! You can eat pretty much as much as you want, so you are never starving!
