In Kansas Child care is running $300-600 a month.
To me it IS too much, b/c the things the centers are SUPPOSED to be doing for our children they are not, but they are still collecting their checks.

I can't be 100% for subsidy because if the teachers/administration is getting big bucks for our kids and are not taking good care of them don't let them have to wait for the state to send them a check at the end of the month, our kids really will get abused.

I feel like the child care, school, and foster care system in America is crumbling before my eyes. That is one of the main reasons I don't want to have children. I don't want them to be abused.

How much is too much? My parents sacrificed and sent me to a private school even though they couldn't *afford* it. But the amount that they spent is continuing to pay off.
