I was a stripper/pole dancer for a few years, I used to find it both sleazy and glamourous! depending on my mood. I found it to be quite exploitative to men actually, the trick to making a lot of money in pole dancing is to get them to really like you almost fall in love with you and then they usual pay for you to sit with them all night and not go off and dance for other men, most of the time they think you like them too, but you are only there for the money. In the end I gave it up as it made me depressed... as I was having to fool these men night after night and it made me feel bad about myself.

Humm that one is hard to answer! I think it depends on the reason you r doing it, for instance we all associate pole dancing with being seedy, but I wouldn't mind learning to pole dance for personal reasons e.g. fitness and 4 my boy friend ( when I get 1)!
