yahoo said i was in violation but all i had done was report a foul mouthed person for putting obscenities in his question so why was i penalised for reporting abuse . I have tried to contact them but to no avail.This in only my third question on this site ,I thought things like this were supposed to be fun. I expect i will be barred completely now for speaking against the great Yahoo

No, it used to deduct 10 factors every time Yahoo bumped off one in all your questions. Now its in elementary terms 2. So its rather greater helpful oh on no account techniques I examine it incorrect. We get factors deleted for answering somebody elses deleted question? that's dumb i've got not examine something approximately that yet

You can't communicate with them. Just ignore it. It was probably retaliation for your complaint. They never check to see why it's been reported or if it's a legitimate violation. If you ignore the jerks instead of reporting them you won't get as many violations.
The people who use obsenities are assholes.

Its only a game heatherp,the points mean nowt really,just a bit of fun on the ol' pc:/I,and others reported some cretin during the week,it was successfully resolved,but i was prepared to bin this whole site had it not have been resolved-then i realised how petty of me it would of been to have done that,the ruination of "my" fun whilst me kids are having "their" fun on their hols-i just get on with it now&it IS fun,just ignore the knobs/cretins/wally's&you'll be ok-soon you like:-)

It seems the yahoo police have their own political agenda. You are pretty much free to say anything hateful or distasteful as long as it is directed at Bush, Blair, Israel, Jews, Americans.

i too have had a run in and i reported incitement to use violence,i was censured they were not , so i have to concur with the others on this the pen is mightier than the sword in this case your keyboard ,forget the reporting it clearly does not work.regards lf
