......ok this may seem like a nut-f.u.k.? but i have 2 ask it.....as around august 27th 2006 it will be observed in the western hemisphere that the planet mars will be close enough to the moon so as to make it look as if there are 2 moons in the night sky because of its brightness with our moon.....the ? is....is this a astrological sign of WAR on EARTH....WW3 ? apparently this will not happen again 4 another 1000 years !..where 2 place this ?

The zodiac is ancient. It is so old, that we cannot acurately date it, so it is obvious that people have been viewing the sky for a long long time.

Mars has been closer to Earth in the last 3 or 4 years than it normally is. In 2003 then again in 2005 it was as close as it had ever been in the last 400 or something years.

During WWII I do not think that Mars was noted as being particularly close. That would kind of be interesting to see if there were any phenomina in the sky preceeding and after big events.

I know that God's universe has a pattern, even if we cannot see it, so I guess we should just see what happens.

MARS HOAX!!!!!!!!!!!!:

A bogus email is going around the Internet. It claims that Mars will be historically close to Earth on August 27, 2006–so close that Mars will look as large as the full Moon. This is not true. Here are the facts: On August 27th, Mars will be on the other side of the solar system, about 385 million kilometers from Earth. The red planet will look tiny and dim, nothing like a full Moon.

The “Mars Hoax” email first appeared in 2003. On August 27th of that year, Mars really did come historically close to Earth. But the email’s claim that Mars would rival the Moon was grossly exaggerated. Every August since 2003, the email has staged a revival. It’s as wrong now as it was then.

MARS WILL NOT BE AS BRIGHT AS THE MOON!!!! ARRRGHGHHHHH!!!!
The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of
-2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at 10 p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m.

(Moons's magnitude is Magnitude -12.74. Arc seconds range between 1700 and 2000 arcseconds))

Sorry bud - not going to happen. If mars came that close its gravitational pull would screw up the earths orbit sending us slowly out into the cosmos. If yould also take mars way off its orbit ans the gravitational pull of the sun would not be able to hold it.

puh-lease! No one knows about the wars on our planet but the Good Lord. I wouldn't be too worried over stuff like that----just GET YOUR CAMERA OUT!

I thought it was going to be Jupiter.

Get your mind off that stuff--and come back down to Earth!

YOU GO, RONIN!!!!
