How do you prove that light exists to someone who is blind and is incapable of sight?

How do you prove that God exists to someone who is incapable of experiencing the presence of God?

I'm not suggesting that a person can actually be 'incapable' of love. Let's define love: We'll call it agape love, the unconditional kind that we're supposed to get from our family as we grow up. Some people, unfortunately, may never have received that kind of love growing up.

Perhaps 'logic' is all they understand.

My point is, asking someone to prove that God exists based on 'logic' and empirical data amounts to about the same thing as asking someone to prove that love exists to someone who has never experienced love.

The same way you prove microwaves exist to someone who cant see microwaves. The object you are tryng to prove exists has atrributes. Find out what they are and use them. If you cannot do it, then maybe the object doesnt actually exist.
define 'Love'
Define 'God'
A blind person will not KNOW what light is

God and light is not the same:

it is true, The light cannot be prove exist by the blind one. light have no power like the God( in common concepts). Light only be see but cannot touched the blind or make itself heard. And light is just a thing, light is neutral not good or evil.

The God( in concepts) if different, He has power and capability, if He is a light and there is incapable human of experiencing Him, He must touch our talk to the incapable one to prove He is exist. Why ? Because God is Kindhearted(good one) and Mercyfull(in common concepts). So if the God really exist, Why don't He show Himself to a CNN live show to all the people on world (He can do it, right?). And not just shining, He should speak, touch and say "Hey I am here, Your God" so the blind one will hear and feel His presence, so the blind will prove His presence and worship Him. Why must He hide in heaven and promise He will come but never give the exact date and time, a promise like an uncertain people. You should analyse this.

If God Really show Himself on CNN live and come to rule the earth today, stop the war in middle east (the holy ground for some religious people), make the world as second heaven, not a trial ground (truly He could read our heart, no trial needed, if we are evil just kill us from the start or never let us be born). I will believe in Him. Can He ?

One may be incapable, but that is not a disqualification for Learning.
If i ask you how will you Prove to an ill Person what is Healthy life and Healthy Life exists ?? The answer is by treating his Disease.. when he is cured i need not prove to him what is health.. he would already know...

First Thing, he being ill makes him more of a Qualified person for Treatment... So don't think any one incapable can be left over...
This incapability of experience of God is not an incurable disease. Experiencing God is our natural State of Being and is within every one of us.. we only have to revoke it..

So First we have to explain to the person that he is ill and Suffering. If the person does not believe that he is suffering then why will he take up something? In your Case at least you believe that you have become incapable and are missing something very valuable...That is a very good Sign ...

The cure to be able to experience God is to try to experience and associate with God more and more....
Just like for a Child to learn walking, the only way to learn is to keep trying to walk....

So just remember that this disease of not able to experience God is not an incurable disease and it only needs patient endeavor...
Chaitanya mahaprabhu has said that the follower of this path should try to be more tolerant than a Tree... Then success is on its way ...

The blind person cannot see the sun and the light but can definitely feel its warmth and the same with love, we can all feel its effects. There is no one who is incapable of experiencing God's presence and that is the basis of love and hope and faith. With God, all things are possible and He can melt even the hardest of hearts. You don't prove it to anyone, you live it and pray they will one day also.

If the "presence of god" was a real occurance, everyone in the immediate area would feel it weather they believed in him or not.
Therefore, it stands to reason that when you "feel" the "presence of god" and those around you who do not share your beliefs do not, the religious experience is all in your mind. Enjoy your free delusions. If I want to halucinate, I have to pay for it.

Good question. Thing is, no one can PROVE these things other than the presence of God Himself. We can tell, but He does the showing. Right?

Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita: "O Arjuna, this body is akin to a field". In Sanskrit, field is kshetra farmland innocent and pure, for it takes on whatever character the farmer chooses to give it.

A handful of grain turns into a harvest. We can choose to create a garden that will delight the hearts of all who visit it or turn it into a dumping ground for people to come and unload their garbage.

Krishna calls this body a field because it can help us accomplish whatever we choose. We can become a sensualist and entrap ourselves in mundane activities or we can withdraw ourselves and concentrate on developing our inner self.

Whatever we sow, we will harvest later. A painter who wanted to paint an image of an ideal young man searched the kingdom until he found a handsome, noble man. The painting turned out well.

The painter decided to do a portrait of a man who was the complete opposite of the earlier one. He looked for a man with negative qualities. In prison he came upon a man who appeared ruthless.

The artist displayed the second portrait. Copies of both portraits were hung inside the jail. When the prisoner, the painter's model, saw these portraits, he began to cry, saying: "Both these portraits are me.

Once I was good and noble; then my life went wrong and I became completely depraved". One day the Buddha was sitting under a tree, practising severe austerities.

A group of seekers passed by singing: "O singer, don’t draw the strings of your lute too tightly lest they break; don’t slack them so much that they will not make music".

The Buddha realised that his body was like a stringed instrument. By mortifying it, he was defeating his purpose, while if he overindulged himself, it would become soft and flabby.

He understood that he must keep to the middle path. Meditation, the middle path, avoids extremes. Seers have called it Sahaja Yoga or natural yoga and Maha Yoga or great yoga.

It can be practised while leading a normal life, meeting one's worldly responsibilities. For that, one needs the grace of a Siddha Master. A Siddha Guru can transmit divine Shakti to a pupil simply by means of a glance.

One morning, St Augustine was strolling along the seashore. He had been seeking God day and night and his eyes were tired and heavy.

He was weighed down by the scriptures he had studied and by the many disciplines he had tried to follow. Just then he saw a young boy holding a cup in his hand.

The boy said that he was trying to find a way by which he could hold the entire ocean in this small cup. St Augustine's eyes opened.

He understood that he was trying to hold the ocean of the Infinite in the tiny cup of his ego. Unless he threw the cup into the sea, he could never achieve what he longed for.

Ego separates us from God, making us small and insecure. It is responsible for jealousy and greed; it keeps us smouldering all the time. When we shed our ego we realise that God is our innermost reality.

The Guru helps us meditate spontaneously. As we plunge within, we realise this wonderful space in the heart and we become absorbed in joy and bliss

You can't... just like you can never explain the way you feel about anything and have someone truly 100% understand it; they are not experiencing it for themselves, thus their interpretation is biased depending on their life.... people can choose to accept or decline any notion they find in life.

You can't. It's kind of silly for god to make some people incapable of experienceing him, and yet demand belief nonetheless, don't you think?
