It's actually because the English drainage system was alot better around the beginning of last century than most of the countries you mentioned.
Those countries used a bidet because they could not flush toilet paper because it caused blockages.
In England however they developed a decent drainage system which allowed flushing. So it isn't a question of hygiene, it is a question of technological advancement. Needless to say that nowadays each of those countries likely has decent enough drainage to compensate, however the bidet has become part of the culture and has therefore remained. Because it was never introduced to England because there were no such problems with drainage it has never become common place to need or use one.

Have you ever been to China ? Mainly we don't have western style toilets - just a hole in the ground and you have to squat. A bidet is very rare.
I have been to Japan and they have bidets. Their toilets are fantastic. At the side they have a keyboard with lots of functions including bidet. They blew my mind !

Goldie looking fish... I ask you..
Are you really trying to say that English people are dirty?
Just a few facts to throw in ..
The french... stink... go to france if you dont beleive me.
Italians smell ok, but not because they have a bidet. It because , like the English, they wash.
Argies?? Cant say for real, but last time I smelled one, they stank of crap... they were on the receiving end of a bayonet charge though so that may have been the reason...
You are obviously backward and as such you must ask your mother how to clean yourself properly.
Hope that helped........ ****.

Because we enjoy wiping ourselves with velvety-soft tissue paper!
I think it's actually because we bathe / shower more often than those other nations. We can just wipe and go, knowing that any 'leftovers' will be washed off in the bath or shower later on and we'll have nice clean underwear on tomorrow.
Those stinkers need to wash their @rses properly every time because they onlt bathe once a week and wear underwear 3 days running!

In the case of the french it's because they only change their underwear once a week and so make some attempt at hygiene in other ways.
