Before using any agressive product go to your dermatologist - or general practitioner- Ask the same question and also ask his/her opinion about the color is normal for you.
The gum color is determined by many factors, your complexion, the one of your family, and other physical disorders that can be examined and verified by your doctor.
Once you are sure that it is only a matter of color, then think about how many people would pay attention to your gums.
Changing lipstick - avoiding light colors, for instance - will help to conceal what bothers you. Regarding the easier way and not the more complicated and unnecessary unless sick - just very few cases- I suggest you to get a cosmetic consultancy about your skin type, get some professional tips about colors that can neutralize what you find are dark gums, and treat your teeth. A woman with a beautiful smile will keep on being radiant regardless of her healthy dark gums.

I was just reading an article yesterday, because my gums are slightly darker also..and i wanted to know how to get those beautiful pink gums..well there is a laser procedure that actually lightens them, i can only imagine how expensive it is, and you would probably need a specialist..Cosmetic dentists may have some more info on it for you.

YES !!!!!!!!!!
One of patients brushed the skin right off. I blead, Yes, It hurt Yes!
It took a while, (but I didn't ask her how long)
But when all was said and done all the melanin was gone!
Her gums were really pink just like the tongue

I'm not really sure but you may have to get skin transplanted from a different part of your body, I have a friend who was an addict and it affected her gums, the only way they could reverse the coloring was by transplanting skin.

I would look at your diet first. Ask your dentist about it. It's amazing what something we lack in our diet can effect our skin, hair, nails, teeth and gums.

You could go talk to a doctor about it. If he doesn't know ask another one.
