i imagine it truly is illegitimate to devour alcohol whenever you're operating. I actually have a pal who owns a bar. He has a license to serve alcohol to the shoppers. He himself is an alcoholic and commonly is sipping a drink even as he has a tendency his bar. each now and then he receives wasted. If something might want to happen (i.e. someone is less than the effect of alcohol after having too a lot to drink at his institution and this shopper then is going out, receives in his motor vehicle and wrecks- the owner of the bar the position he grow to be served may have his license revoked for serving him), he's up the creek with no paddle.

No..but it's illegal to:
1. Serve a drunk with alcohol......so how come so many are able to get drunk in the pubs??
2. To sell alcohol to a police officer on duty (even though they won't drink it until they're off duty!).
3. To give alcohol to a child under 5!!!

THE LAW IS AN ***....and so is our licensing laws!!!

In the UK, no such law exists to stop licensees drinking alcohol during licensing hours.

It might not be a good idea but I don't believe its not illegal. If your are inside and not public drunk outside of the business I don't see how they could take any action against you.

Yep. When I worked in a pub if someone bought me a drink I had to wait till I had finished my shift before I could drink it!
