Both the US and UK are pretty undiscerning when it comes to selling weapons to other countries.
The Exports Credits Gaurantee Department here in the UK uses tax payers money to underwrite loans for arms - they bailed Saddam out when he defaulted on payments for arms used against the Kurds.
And people wonder why so many of us objected to the 'war on terror'.
As the late great Bill Hicks aid 'how did we know these countires have these weapons? We looked at the receipt'.

Did you know that the USA isn't perfect but seriously, if you had an opportunity to move to any country in the world for the next 10 years, where would you rather live ? I get sick and tired of people that complain about this country and point out all the bad things. I was born and raised in this wonderful country and I wouldt want to have to live in another country for anything !!!
Also, it really makes me sick for anyone to insinuate that any TRUE American would have knowingly had anything at all to do with that tragic day.

Yeah, tell me abt it .............. Osama Bin Laden is probably an American agent, and using him they conquered the land of Afghanistan, and have been using him to give a bad name to all Muslims .............. Just ask urself this, why havent americans been able to capture osama when they are in all of afghanistan, huh? True Muslims are never suppose to be extremists like osama who will blow up 50 innocents to kill 2 or 3 americans.
Infact, do u know that america built up osama, gave him weapons and backing, and used him against the russians in the afghan-soviet war, and they are still using him. al-quaida roots go back to america evidently. Peace to All.

Yep. And not just a, quida. The sell weapons to whoever would buy and over they course of things they often have to fight them later.
It's all the rage - everybody's doing it.

i'd think of if the white persons in uniform with hi tech weapons confirmed a similar loss of comprehend for regulation and order and casual dismiss for all times as those with catapults you will call it a heap of broken catapults and ineffective bodies.

no ****! it was to help them defeat the Russians,besides bin ladens family business.is a construction company that helps rebuild alot of war torn places.the weapons were not that high tech.we never sell the real advanced weaponry thats for our on good.we have to stay ahead of everyone else

you can give us more sources, but I know it's a fact tha USA once helped Iraq and Saddam Hossein in the war with Iran. Way to go, USA!!!
