Yesterday, at my local Superstore I bought a fourpack of multi-coloured bell peppers, intending to make some awesome fajitas for lunch today. When I opened up the pack, I saw that the stem of one had white fuzz on it and the side of the other pepper it was touching also was starting to sprout some brown fuzz... I definitely don't think it's healthy for consumption... do you think I can take them back for a refund?

Not that I'm a pennypincher or anything, but a pack of 4 bell peppers cost me $5.99 CAD... why are they so damn expensive? 'Cause they're from Holland?

Take them to the store and get your money back. The peppers should not have been out to begin with.

Heck, yeah. I take my moldy food RIGHT back and they give me a refund. Doesn't happen often but you should do it everytime! Try to find out when the freshest stuff is delivered and shop that day and time, or find a good farmer's market in your area where the growers bring out fresh stuff every morning. Plastic + peppers = bad veggies. They are expensive but you can grow your own, too.
