if they are in love, it might work, but then you can never be sure of anything nowadays. With such a hectic life and everyone seems more and more busy, and we do spend less & less time with our partners everyday, it is very difficult to stay in love.
What also is an issue here is the age difference. Guys tend to mature much later than girls. I feel that a 19-yr old boy with a 27-yr old woman, the gap is a bit too much, the woman will soon find that this is not a man at all but only a boy. In a couple of years time, she would want to relax at home while he would want to party (just an example).
Think it over, or if you are asking about someone, support them but tell them that there is a bigger probability that this relationship does not work out.

Don't see why not ... as long as the guy understands the woman will always be responsible for her kid first and foremost and that his needs will come second. If they are both adult about the relationship there shouldn't be any problem.

people will always judge this kinda thing but if they love each other then why should'nt it?! if it was the other way around, the guy being the oldest nothing would really say anything so whats the difference with the woman being older!?! i say it could work but both of you would have to 'put' in to the relationship! :)

I say let the poor 19 yr old go and enjoy his life. The last thing he needs is a woman with her best years behind her and a cart-load of baggage holding him back.
If you love someone set them free.

My first wife left me when she was 26 with 2 kids and went to live with a nineteen year old. He got her pregnant six years later (after they were married) and he left her and went to live in Ausralia.
Be warned ......
