Well, I think you’re right in classifying it as just one more method of birth control – which it is, just a long-term one.
So the question is more, “Is birth control wrong?”
I don’t really know a solid answer to that. The two basic sides are:
(1) Birth control interferes with the natural process that God established, so it tries to “play God” and shouldn’t be used.
(2) People only have limited resources in life and are responsible to God for managing those resources.
Both arguments have some truth to them, which is why the issue does not die.
The main reason I think birth control has created issues is because it has separated the sexual act from the procreative act. Without effective birth control, sex was not just sex, it was also the very real possibility of creating another living human being – so it was always understood and lived out in that context.
And that context tailored how people viewed the “sex” element – love and commitment really had to be part of the sex act, idealistically. It would result in a family.
Nowadays, since sex can be easily separated from procreation, we have lots of people having sex outside a committed relationship and later being hurt when the relationship is broken. We also have children being born to people who are not committed to establishing a family, resulting in negligence, abuse, or abandonment. We have abortion for those who don’t or can’t deal with the idea of a baby. Birth control helps us manage our practical resources better, but it has also changed how we view and act within our relationships.
I wish there was a definitive answer. At the very least, a couple has to reach their decision together, with lots of prayer and evaluation of what God has given them. In any case, children should always be looked upon joyfully, as new and growing individuals.

each and every so often a vasectomy is mandatory, no longer for the guy yet for the girl. If a woman has particular well being circumstances and is advised it would be existence threatening for her to alter into pregnant then its in all danger that any surgical treatment (hysterectomy, tubes tied) may be risky besides. it rather is then stated that the husband have a vasectomy. I additionally think of its honest, via fact the girl did supply beginning, and that's no day on the park. men who refuse a vasectomy for no reason are selfish. okay to answer the question, Catholics view any variety of beginning administration (aside from 'ovulation watching") as a sin. Its ridiculous. i think intercourse is organic and birth control is clever. Catholics exchange their innovations actual speedy while their unwed teen daughter comes abode pregnant. Do what's terrific for your self and your companion.

The Bible doesn't speak against either birth control or sex for reasons other than procreation.
When Onan was killed (Genesis 38:9), it was because he was refusing to father a child in his brother's name. As long as no child was born, Onan was the heir, but if the child was born, he would be the heir. He was slain for disobedience and greed.
Part of the reason people think that sex is only for reproduction is the false view that the flesh is evil, and therefore anything good to the flesh is evil. Flesh is not evil; cut off your arm and see how many crimes it commits without your spirit to restrain it. The ancient Gnostics thought that a perfect God couldn't have made sinful flesh, and thought that God made a lesser god who made a lesser god, and that we are all children of a lesser god. They thought that women were evil for taking perfect souls and imprisoning them in evil flesh in conception. This is also where the false belief of the perpetual virginity of Mary comes from, also (it would have been sinful for her to remain a virgin, 1Cor 7:5).

It would be considered a sin by the catholics. No birth control allowed - only the rhythm method. There's no medical reason to have a vsection, other than prevention of pregnancy. And they're very very down on that.
