There are many contributions He made to the world; one out of the many was to civilize the tribes of the Arabian peninsula. These tribes were so savage that they would bury their newborn daughters alive because they believed men were superior to women. Muhammad stopped this practice, and He also stopped men from having thousands of wives.
As far as I know, Muhammad did not introduce the concept of veiling women. This came later, through His followers.
The Islamic civilization He created flourished during the Dark Ages of Europe and helped bring about the Renaissance (when the Crusaders went over to Europe, they brought back the mathematical and scientific ideas and concepts of the Islamic civilization there).
There are plenty of other accomplishments of Muhammad; you can find them at the website below. Thanks for asking.

Jesus was supposed to have died on the cross but records from the Qumran Library(Part of the Dead Sea Scrolls) record Jesus as being alive in 70 AD. He was born on the 1st March 7 B.C. in a place called Mird, which would make him 76.
When he was born there was no such place as Nazareth.
If you doubt any of this feel free to research it for yourself, I did.

so many good things...i cannot detail them here, but to some up some points, mohammad has change the world living...
He save the humankind to the world of darkness and slavery. He was the first who build a city-state with diplomacy to other kingdoms with different belief. He was the first who deal with an agreement to other state which can be considered as International Relations. He give some emphasize on human morality. and many more about goodness.
For women, He made them so special...don't you know that?if you did not know that, you should...
Most of all, he has been a good model to all muslims. Strange! all He did was for human moral kindness and goodness...

Mohammad was a great contributor on many areas. From a theological point of view he introduced monotheistic faith in a pagan society, he was also considered a great politician, seeking alliances and contributed to unity among the young Muslim movement, spreading the faith of Islam with words and the sword.

He did a lot, he hate pork and spared the the pigs (Miss Piggy is really grateful), got others to write a 'holy' book to be misinterpreted by many who expects 70 virgins after they die, made his men treat their women worse that ****, made missiles out of jet-liners, glorify God when slicing off other peoples heads and shhhh.....calls a JIHAD (911) whenever they run out of answers to answer the world.
I really wish the silent majority of the moderates can do something to rid the fundamentalists.

He married a 6 year old girl and inspired millions of people to turn into terrorists, does that count?
I do know one thing he did that Jesus didn't do: EXIST. Jesus is a fairy tale. As is God, Allah, Vishnu, Mithra, Horus, etc, etc, etc.

"Philosopher, Orator, Apostle, Legislator, Conqueror of Ideas, Restorer of Rational beliefs.... The founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?"
