I’ve been lurking here for a while and it is an amusing place.
Anyway, in your opinion, which religious group (or non-religious for you agnostics and atheists) appears to be the most supportive, helpful and considerate (to those inside and outside their category)? The Bible talks about knowing people by their fruit, so whose is the sweetest.
I’m asking specifically about behavior here on YA Religion and Spirituality.
Christian (Catholic, Protestant, JW, LDS etc), Muslim, Neo-Pagan (Wiccan, Druid, etc), Jew, Atheist, Agnostic, FSM (But I think this is a sub-set of the atheist/agnostic camp), or someone else I am forgetting.

Not an easy one to answer. There is a subset of Christians and Atheist that are constantly wig-wagging at one another so they can come off rather nasty.
The FSM are pretty funny.
I have had little dealing with the Muslims so I really can't say much there.
I haven't run across any Jews.
The Pagans are great but then again I'm biased.
So I'll say there are some great people here and there are some not so great.
Not the answer you want. Is it?
Blessed Be,
Pabs

You will find good people from all those religions and bad from all those religions. I speak as a Christian when I say I have met some Christians I would not give two cents for. Then I have met some that you couldnt meet a nicer person. But dont judge us by how we act sometimes either. Christians are still imperfect. Look at Peter when He denied Jesus, and Jesus even said someone would deny him. We still have the same struggles and temptations as anyone. We will mess up and say the wrong thing sometimes, but hopefully we ask for forgivness to the person we might have offended and from Jesus as well.

Atheists and agnostics. We don't preech intolerance at people and use damnation in hell as a scare tactic to try to make everyone belive like we do. Also i think the most spiritual people are agnostics. Relgion and spiritualy are two completely different things and the highly religous are too blinded by what is preached at them and whats written in their little book to really connect with their inner spirit and truly have empathy and understanding toward their fellow humans.

Whichever group you obtain the greatest knowledge from is the one who bears the sweetest fruit. Religion is an internal thing. One which you must take time to investigate and choose for yourself through much deliberation. As long as you find fulfilment in your soul and peace for your spirit, what difference does it make what religon it is? BTW I am Christian, non- denominational. As long as you believe that Jesus died for your sins and is your foundation then I think you have to just decide for yourself which religion gives you the best answers for everything else.

I have not taken a poll so cannot say for sure. However, I will say that those who support tolerance and understanding are the most supportive and helpful and considerate humans on the planet.

Christians, maybe. I don't know about any one person's beliefs, but mine. I can honestly say I love to know I may be helping someone, with what I feel I know, may help someone get up off the ground to help themselves. Prayer opens the door for Jesus to work and help in one's life, ANY time, ALL the time.

i believe it's the christian group.
we're taught by god, jesus christ.
to love one another, not to judge anyone, to forgive, forgive those that have trespassed us,
to love the sinner but hate the sin.
god gives us commandments to follow, & we should be following them.
yes, the bible talks about knowing people by their fruit. actions speaks louder then words.
but remember: there's many religions in this world but ONLY 1 GOD, WHOSE UP IN HEAVEN. IN THE BIBLE : 1 OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS STATES: THOU SHALT HAVE "NO" OTHER GOD'S B/4 ME. THOU SHALT NOT WORSHIP ANY IDOL, GRAVEN IMAGE, NOR MAN MADE IDOLS.
god's a jealous god.

I don't think it is a particular group, I think there are individuals who do a good service here.
