It is because Muslims and Christians were the largest of all community and still are (Christians are 2.1 bn and Muslims are 1.6 bn), so they came face-to-face more often, it wasnt anything personal. And believe me Jews have never fought in the open in history ever, they always Plan to get others fight against each other, and they themselves sit out and see through the sidelines (it is only recent in the past 50 yrs that they had to fight against the Arabs for Israel). Even, Western world didnt want the Jews in their backyard (Europe), so they gave Jews a place in the mid-east to keep them away from Europe as well as increase tensions against the Muslims, when they gave away mid-east to them, which was suppose to be Muslim territory.

The answer is quite simple. Muslims believe in one God(Allah). Christians believe in one God(Jehovah, I Am, El Shaddai, etc. different names, same God). They fight because each believes his to be Supreme. Other religions are tolerant, or just don't believe as strongly in their cause as do Muslims and Christians. However Muslims do fight with other religions. As a matter of fact the nation of Islam's pronounced goal is to take over the world. In case you didn't know this they hate Jews. The Koran itself teaches them to kill all "heathen" The Muslims have interpreted this to be anyone who is not a Muslim.
