Thank you everyone for replying, unfortunately, the owners are neighbors allowing their dogs to distroy my lawn. No, I can't shoot my neighbors, the water hose just makes them madder(not the dogs). BB guns, not either, I don't want to hurt anyone or anything. Maybe, the mirrors...hummmm,, some these neighbors would proably scare themselves...LMAO...

You need to confront the neighbours, after all they are responsible for their dog. If this doesnt work then the local dog wardon, at your local council should be informed.
I believe that the neighbours are commiting a criminal offence by allowing their dog to fowl on private property, and can be prosecuted......hope this helps.

Simply don't allow dogs on your lawn. If it's your own dog, don't let it on the lawn at all, if it's someone else's dog, put up a fence to keep them out. If fencing is not an option, try some of those "scent" barriers that are available from pet supply and home improvement stores--they do work if you use them correctly.

you should talk which includes your neighbor about this right away. If he chooses to have his canines roaming loose, per chance he needs to publish a fence. clarify that the canines would not belong to you and that you do not choose #2 on your backyard. attempt to be calm and style about it, yet when he gives you a not user-friendly time, you may want to document a grievance with the police. He'd be fined for not "curtailing" his canines. i'm particular that could want to open his eyes. as far as sprays and stuff, they don't particularly artwork, so do not hardship dropping the money. A difficulty like this calls for communication with the owner.

When I was a kid people put gallon glass jars of water on there lawn to keep dogs away.
Think the effect is similar to kandaphati recommendation of mirrors.

Either turn the water hose on them or stare at them. Dogs don't like to be watched while they are releasing.

Have you tried putting pepper down? Apparently the scent throws them off. Most of the peeing a dog does is to mark their territory.

If it's your own dog, you might also want to try training them to pee only in a specific spot in the garden. Check out http://www.ehow.com/how_32_house-train-puppy.html

Even if your dog isn't a puppy, it's worth training them as if they are.

Capsaicin spray (hot pepper) on the plants.

Or talk to the dog's owner.

If you pee on the yard your self. Your pee has your sent and you are the alpha on most dogs. If you mark your own area, they will not mark over you.
