This is NOT true. Each hair has a folicle that it grows out of. You only have a certain amount of them. If you pull one hair 2 or more cannot grow in the same folicle and you cannot grow new folicles.

No way, Hair in encased in a tuberacle called the papilla, when you pluck a hair it it simply detaches from the root. The root is still there and alive so it re-grows a new hair up and out of the folicle. Gray hair is actullay "clear" hair
a gray hair is absent of all pigment.
some other hair rumors:
Hair grow after your dead ?
NO, hair and nails get nutrients from the blood and makes them grow, no nutirents no growth
If you shave does it come back thicker ?
NO, again hair can only grow 1 hair per follicle
now with that being said, when you shave you do not cut the hair at an exact 90 degree angle, more like a 45 degree angle therefore making the hair appear thicker..
hope this helps

No, this is not true. As you are only pulling out 1 hair, the folicle is single, only one can grow back. But, in turn, when it grows in, and grey it will be, it tends to stand out more as it is shorter then your other hair

Not true! Grey hair could be brought on by heredity, stress, your diet....My mom and my grandmother both had grey hair at 17. Guess what? I had grey hair at 17, and I have more now at 29.

no its an old wives' tale. Its true that one hair pushes another out (thats why hair just molts) but i dont think if one grey hair is pulled out, another grey hair will grow back. dont worry about it. x

I pulled out a few way back when I think once you find one there are more to come highlight your hair to camouflage it for the next ten years

Absolute nonsense. If it were true, you'd see a lot more gray haired balding men pulling their hair out.
