Well according to some definitions if you drink blood you are a vampire. However, other criteria for vampires include the power to turn yourself into a bat and strong aversion to sunlight. Since Jesus didn't have those two traits, I think you have to rule out vampirism as a name for the condition of his followers, unless you create a new form of semi-vampire that only drinks blood but is normal in all other ways.

Technically they are vampires and cannibals. Jesus said "Eat My flesh and drink My blood". If you are a true believer you do not take that as symbolic. You must believe it is the body and blood of Christ.

Can you not come up with something original? You copied this question from someone else. If you don't have the ability to see symbolism in that, you are just as irrational as your question.

Are you crazy?! He said the cup REPRESENTED his blood. That's not hard to understand is it?. If you were so smart, you would have understood it yourself and not had to ask such a stupid question. Why didn't you ask about the body part? Well i guess it's because it boldly says he took BREAD and broke it. If you got the bread part, why didn't you get the blood part? Why drink blood with bread? Why not with flesh? You are so stupid.

We partake in this Sacrament because it was His body and blood that was given and shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We do not actually drink or eat his body and blood, partake of the bread and wine in which Christ is truely present to forgive our sins and strengthen our faith.
There is nothing vamprish or canabalistic about it as we are not drinking actual blood or actual human flesh.

No it is a symbol for salvation and what was to come when Jesus died on the cross. And they drunk wine and ate bread.
