In Thai:
tee raak = my love
waan jai = sweet heart
fan = lover, boy/girl friend, spouse
The word honey is just honey the sticky fluid and has nothing to do with love at all.

Hi! Pet names in French are usually:
Mon chéri (speaking to a guy)
Ma chérie (speaking to a girl)
These 2 come from the verb "to cherish" and are usually translated as "my darling" in English
There is also "mon amour", which means "my love"
The closest to "sweetheart" in my opinion is "mon coeur", which literally means "my heart".
Honey is not used as a pet name in French, it is only food. The word for that is "miel", but as I said, not used as a petname.
Another one that is used in France from a guy to a woman is "ma biche" which actually means "my doe" (female deer).
