Marrying your 3rd cousin is legal. The children turn out normal

I watched a segment about this on Dr. Phil. He say's it is perfectly ok for cousins to marry. He says there is no evidence that there will be anything wrong with the children of such a marriage and that the only negative thing was having to deal with others and what they think! Hope this helps.

You should consult an obstetrician or gynocologist, and ask this question. Also, a link to keyword "grnrtics" might give you a good base for answers. A genetecist could certainly outline the potentiality of giving birth to a child who is, in some way cognitively impaired or disadvantaged, due to bloodline. Be well.

That would be incest. They say that you can legally marry your fourth cousin though. Other than it being kinda gross to marry your 3rd cousin you have a higher chance of having a mentally retarded child.
