Why is it that the most important words in life are seldom, if ever, spoken?
I am sorry.
Why is it that the most important people in the world, are seldom, if ever, told how one feels.
I love you.
And why is it that a father’s love for his child so often goes unsaid until it is too late.
I am sorry. I have always loved you.
A wife should always know how her husband feels about her, without having to be told.
Why?
A mother should always know how her son feels about her, without him having to tell her.
Why?
And a father should always know how his baby girl feels, even now when she is much older.
Again why?
I do not claim to know the answers. I merely make these comments.
That the truest love need never be spoken and that true friendship requires no apologies.
Husbands and wives know only too well how they feel for each other, as do their children.
But surely it must be right to tell or be told how one feels once in a while.
That is why I am sorry. For I never did .
