It also depends upon what you are used to--islanders who live without AC can function in high temps, where Americans (like me) are spoiled by AC.
So, be overly cautious if you aren't sure!!
Sunscreen, even for a few minutes, can be vital.

I live in north texas and i've never seen anything close down, everyone drives with air conditioning, has it cranked in the house and businesses, and barely go outside at all. It is only dangerous if you are planning to spend hours in the sun with no relief such as water and shade. It gets hotter in other parts of the world than here, and with convenience everywhere, I don't think it's anything you have to worry about.

Generally anything over 100 is unhealthy, you have to remember that human body's temp is on average 99.6. So anything about that could be dangerous. It depends what your doing outside when the temp goes up.
For instance, it's not a good idea to go running when it's 120 degrees.

When it reaches 50 here outside workmen are allowed to go home and schoolkids (no the public schools dont have air conditioners!)

Depends on your health, infants , ill people and the very old need to be very careful in the heat,
Learn the first aide for heat exhaustion and heat stroke, they cancause death .
