You might try it for a few days to a week to see how that idea works.
I find, as a male, that wearing underwear may save the sensitive skin of the whanger from injury from zipper and other rough fabric. This may also be the case with tissue around the vagina, though I suspect a good bush will help cushion the clit and other sensitive areas. Not like it "sticks out there" like the penis.
What other concerns might there be? Certainly no one will know unless you tell them or show them.
If you like to use jeans or pants more than once to save on washing water, this may pose a problem, as the funk from the poondang will go straight to the pant fabric, so you really had better wash after wear.

Depends on what type of dress you are wearing. If is the traditional indian sari with petticoat then panties are never required. If it is the western dress system of either pants or a gown then wearing panties is desirable / safe to wear because there are many chances of exposure due to any unforeseen circumstances.

I never wear them. It is comfortable, and free. Just do not wear skirts very often and never short ones unless you are home alone with the shades drawn. LOL
