Can i apply for an immigrant visa to the US through my sister, and apply again through my mom?

meaning am i limited to just one immigarnt visa filing. or can i have more than one?

you are limited to only one filing, if you have multiple filings, you might not get any, or at least thats the way i understand it.

youd be better served contacting the state department, or i guess its homeland security now, and find out for sure.

Either of them can petition for you, and you can use the one that becomes current first.
