Feel free to share. The occasional banana treat in moderation shouldn't make your feline friend sick - and even offers him a health benefit.Fruits and vegetables are a delicious treat for pets, they can be very filling, but won't cause your pet to put on extra pounds as some commercial pet treats and pet foods can. Many pets will eat a variety of fruits and vegetables if you offer them. Favorites include bananas, apples, strawberries, raw carrots and potatoes, and even baked acorn squash and green beans. Cats and dogs reap many of the same health benefits as humans by eating fresh fruits and veggies. They contain necessary vitamins and minerals, and are a good source of fiber. For years, veterinarians have suggested that raw apples, carrots and potatoes be given in lieu of "treats" to dogs that are on the portly side. And it's no secret that cats are naturally attracted to greens like "cat grass" and catnip.

If you're asking if it's ok to let your cat have pieces of a banana, the answer is most likely yes.
Here comes the but...
But you have to understand, cats, unlike humans, are carnivores, their physiology is designed to consume and digest protein, not vegetable matter. Cats are healthiest when they are eating proper amounts of meat and fatty acids, they don't need sugar from plants and can't digest it so be careful when feeding your cat things that he or she would not normally eat in the wild. A housecat can live a perfectly long, healthy and happy life without eating a single plant in its lifetime.
Common houseplants and vegetables that humans use and find innocent or helpful are poisonous to cats like aloe vera, eggplant, tobacco, lilies, oleander, etc.
Now this isn't to say that you should deny your cat the pleasure of chewing on plants. Some cats seem to genuinely enjoy it and it's possible that they derive some health benefits from it. But check online for various plant toxicities (there are a LOT).
Many theories exist to why some cats love munching on veggies but it's not well understood at the moment. But feel free to indulge him or her.. just be careful.

She should eat half wet food (a good quality one) in addition to the dry food, or kidney failure may ensue. Other than that, I don't think it's a big deal for a cat to have a bite of irregular items, as long as it's not candy or hashbrownies. I also want to add that this Vegan Neil K guy is an idiot. If he was really against hurting animals, he would realize that forcing a carnivore to eat vegan constitutes animal abuse. Believe me, I used to work as a vet assistant and I've seen it. It was so sad to see and my heart went out to this poor dying cat.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Read more here https://biturl.im/aU7DR
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don't achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren't putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

When my cat was young he really did like bananas too.
Now he's into chips and dip and steals hot fries every chance he gets. As long as they are getting their cat food and plenty of water they seem to be able to handle a little bit of what ever they decide is theirs.

Lot of dumb ***** here feeding their cats anything. And guess what? The cats will end with heart issues, kidney issues, and colon issues. More cats die as a result from dumbass owners than anything else.

Probably. One cat I had liked cantelope. Another was crazy about refried beans and demanded her own salad when I made mine (but she picked out the onions). The cat I have now is a black olive fan.
