I have seven cats and its no big deal. I love each of them dearly. I would encourage you to keep them all but make sure that you get all of the kittens fixed so that when they get older, they will not have any kittens of their own. Get the Mama cat fixed too. You may not be aware, but there is an animal overpopulation in the world which is very dangerous for the future of animals. Because of this overpopulation, many cats are homeless, are in shelters, and euthanized (killed) simply because the shelter cannot afford to keep the animals or they do not have the room. Also, homeless animals are prone to get abused by other people and other animals. In addition, homeless animals in shelters are sometimes sold to laboratories so that the labs can conduct brutal and cruel animal testing. These are all the many reasons why you should have all of your cats fixed and offer them a loving home with you.

Sounds like you need to ask your parents.

As a general rule, only keep them if you can give them love, attention, quality food & quality vet care, as well as the ability to take on the responsibility of cleaning their cat boxes! Keep them all inside, so they'll be safe, and have all of them "fixed", including the Mom. As another person pointed out, there is a terrible problem with overpopulation for cats and dogs. At least if you have them fixed, they won't contribute to this sad situation.

The other thing you need to do is make sure they all have their vaccinations. All of these vet expenses should be taken into consideration if you want to keep them all. You can probably get a discount if you ask for one and bring them all at the same time.

On the other hand, if you and your family cannot take care of the Mom and kittens responsibly, you should find them the very best homes possible, where the new owners will do all of the above.

Good luck! :-)

Absolutely. I had a cat that had 3 kittens and kept them all. I've had 6 cats and a dog in my house at one time. As long as you can take care of them properly go ahead and keep them all. If you do decide to give them away please be sure to go through a pet assistance league. They will ensure they go to a good and proper home. I found a stray cat and kitten 11 years ago and was going to give them away. We tried to find their owners but to no avail could not. In my research I learned never to put up a sign saying free kittens to a good home. Their are people that will see this has an invitation. Some people will use them for scientific experiments or food. Also, ignore the answerer that suggested putting them in a bag and throwing them in a lake. Disgusting! I had a boyfriend that suggested I do that so I dumped him. Oh and I did keep the mother cat and her kitten. :)

I wish you a lot of luck with your new kittens. =^..^=

Why not, but whatever you do, get mamma cat spayed within three weeks or she will get pregnant again. Her milk for the kittens will not be affected byt the operation. You will need to get the kittens neutered too, at 5 to 6 months old. Good luck with your new family.

If you want to but make sure you get them spayed and neutered, or else they will mate and you will have some seriously deformed or dead kittens on your hands

Have your mother cat sterilised when she has weened her kittens
and you can keep the kittens if you have them sterilised when they are about 6 month old

as long as you have the time to spend with them, the space to keep them and the money to buy quality food, pay for vet visits and litter and toys etc. everything to keep them ALL happy and healthy.

if you can honestly say that then, yes keep them all but if you can't then find good homes for them and get your cat spayed.

I would keep the female but the males have got to go you don't want to interbreed them that will make unhealthy breeds. Besides male cats spray and are not the best of cats unless they are Siamese.
