Like answerer number one,,, I'm not from here. I'm just kinda visiting to partake of fast food.
You don't state the type of paint. You don't state the type of carpet. You don't state HOW MUCH paint, and you don't
mention if you've tried anything else.
"Goof Off" can certainly help, and shouldn't damage carpet fiber or color, but You may never completely remove any
staining that took place.
No offense, but as an analogy,,, Measure twice to cut once. I suggest PREP time would have been far more valuable than clean up time spent.

If the paint is still wet or almost new a professional cleaner may be able to remove. If its over 3 day old and dried it will not. Sound like you have tried a few items that may have prevent it from ever coming out. Call your insurance company.

If your carpet is nylon go to your local home depot and get this stuff called goof off professional strength in the spray form or squeeze can, apply it with a toothbrush and gently scrub, paint will disappear as if it was never there. The only product I have found that cleans all is oxyclean it works great you should try it, it might help.

Try Acetone. I have actually remove paint stains with this. Very cos tic. Use very quickly. I brushed it in with a toothbrush. The stain was gone but the acetone melted the bristles on the brush.

If it's dry emulsion, I think yuou will need to remove the carpet! If it's wet, keep soaking it, then drying it, or - preferably - use a wet/dry vacuum.
If it's gloss, use polyclens, but the colour might change. Use soapy water once the paint is up, then clean water to finish.
Good lock

If it water based paint/emulsion it should come ut with just a damp cloth. if it doesnt then you best go to a cleaners shop (that suppliers cleaners with their equipment) and ask them for best thing they have. 1001 is useless so dont waste anymore time with that! See if you can hire a carpet cleaner as this will help 'suck' the paint off. Good luck!!

if still damp soap & a little hot water to blot it up with. If it is dry it depends on how big the spot is , use a sharp knife try to scrap it off , then you have any left over carpet just cut the backing off & glue down the top of it . No one will ever Know.

Try "White Spirit", which we, in the UK, call TURPS. Then use a carpet cleaning product over the top, leave overnight, then hoover and it should be gone.
In the meantime, tip: next time you paint, get a dust sheet for the carpet,
