I'm flabbergasted that every preceding suggestion involved heating it. I say freeze it if your freezer can handle the space. It should pop right out in one or two pieces.

You could either put the candelabra in the freezer for awhile and then pop the wax right off or take a lighter and heat the wax and pull it off with your fingers.

boil the water and put the candelabra into the boiling water, the water won't damage the metal but melt the wax.

IF the candelabra is steel (I presume) then slowly heating it should be pretty easy. Put it in the oven if it is small enough or even out in the sun if you have hot weather.

Try to heat it slowly and then immerse it in boiling water. Rub it clean in a few minutes. Also you can try using lemon peel or Vinegar for cleaning.

I'd say this sounds like a question for Liberache, but that would be too obvious & in bad taste. So I'll leave it at "I don't know".
