my answer is ;
In winter , our body is hot inside and the whether is cold outside .
and in smmer , our body is cold inside and the whether is hot outside.
People eat ice cream in smmr , because the outside heat is too much and heats up their internal system , so to chill off people prefer ice cream , but actually ice cream by itself has lots of sugar and increases the body heat.

because it's cold. it cools your core temperature and therefore makes you feel less too hot. plus it's yummy.
