Now Yahoo answers is a wonderful thing and good to find info, You need some common sense when to use it and when not. In such an emergency like in ur case , the best thing is to take her to a doctor immediately! You cant rely on yahoo answers for this

Relax...I'm under the assumption she didn't chug the whole bottle or else you'd be horsewhipped for not taking her to poison control instead of goofing around here asking what to do.
It's nothing but soap. Worst case scenario, you'll have a lot of "liquidy and soapy" diapers to change for a day.
She'll live.

Your next project is to make a sweep of the house and put all stuff like this out of reach.

Jesus, are you a freaking idiot?!?!?!? I wouldn't trust ANY ANSWER given here, much less one that, as far as you know, holds your daughter's life in the balance!!!! You are not fit to be a mother if you are really relying on this website to tell you what to do after your daughter swallowed shampoo instead of calling your doctor IMMEDIATELY!!!! I feel sorry for your daughter already, with an idiot like you raising her, she doesn't have a chance.

Read the label on the bottle to see what it says about swallowing. Follow it's directions about calling a physician or the poison control center.

She may seem fine now but you should call a poison control center right NOW or take her to the emergency room NOW. Many shampoos contain toxic chemicals that can cause damage to the nervous system.

Is this a joke. Are you nuts. What are you waiting for, take her to the ER. She will get Charcoal put in her stomach by a small tube that goes in her nose..It doesn't hurt at all. This stuff will get the poison out of her. Go NOW!

Call 911, and ask to be connected to poison control.

She'll more than likely be fine, (all that stuff is absorbed by your skin when you use it on your head, none of it is poison).

1-800-222-1222 is the national poison control center.

You need to get her to the ER fast. Mostly it will probably only give her diahrea but you need to know any possible side effects and even if she will get sever dehydration. GO NOW. A doctor can tell you what you need to watch for.

Irene,
What kind of mom takes the time to go on line to ask us this question. You should be calling your local poison control. This could considered child endangerment.
