Unfortunately, the only 100 % effective kind of birth control is abstinence. But there are other options such as tubal litigation, but a tubal is 100 % effective unless it's been cut, burned and all. If you just opt to have your tubes tied, that can come undone. I've known several woman that this has happened to. But tubal litigation isn't for everyone, if you have heavy periods, a tubal may cause them to be heavier and more painful even.
I personally opted for a Mirena IUD, and so far it has worked well for me. I would recommend checking into an IUD. The best thing I like about it is it's birth control I don't have to worry about everyday and I also don't have periods, spot just a little, but no periods. IUD's are specifically made for woman who have had at least one child or more and who have not had any problems with STD's. So thats something to consider. Hope all this helps.

You sound to me to be under age. I would say abstenence untill you are married. There are so many diseases you there you would never know if your partner had one. Just be smart say No sex until you are married. Then find out what birth control will work best for you and your spouce.
If you are married then congrats to you. You either feel you are not ready or had enough. I would have to recommend having your spouce get a viesectamy. It is very easy on them and if you ever decide 10 years from now you want a baby it can be reversed. Then you don't have to worry about the pain of having your tubes tied and he is only in pain for maybe 2 days.
Good Luck.
I wish there were alot more people out there who would ask a question like this rather than"I'm pregnant what do I do?"

Well lets see I have found no birth control works for me. If your done having children get your tubes tied. I got 5 well 4 but the 5 will be here Friday being induced.
Child 1 was conceived on the pill.
Child 2 was conceived on the pill and condoms.
Child3 & 4 was planed.
Child 5 we had the iud.
Sudposed to be the next best thing to having your tubes tied well guess what not so with me.
Just check out all the forms your intersed in and get all the info from your doctor and talk it over with him to find hopefully what will work with your body.
Good Luck.

Permanent would be a hysterectomy, but I'm unaware of any doctors performing this operation as a means of birth control.
NO birth control is 100% effective or permanent, not even a tubal ligation.
What is a spiral? Do you mean an IUD? If so, I have one (the copper one, NOT the hormonal one) and I love mine. I've had it a year now and so far it's working. www.paragard.com

If you're thinking effective and permanent.... A tubal ligation is the best.. they cut the falopian tubes, burn the ends closed and tie it in a knot.. no eggs getting through there.. nothing more permanent than cut, burnt and tied.

Abstinence. That is the most effective form of birthcontrol. As well as preventing a person from getting an STD.

I'm thinking that no sex is about as effective as you can get. Sterilization is about as permanent as it gets.
AbOUt (you forgot a couple letters there *eyeroll*) spiral...wtf is that? I've never heard of it and I'm a nurse.

Most effective and permanent - remove your reproductive organs...but there is no turning back.
