It's anti-pasta not pasto, and all it means is prior to pasta, not against pasta. It's from the traditional many courses Italian meal, where there's always pasta, and something comes before the pasta, then something after.

its the pasta...pasta has complex carbohydrates and startch...everyone todat is on a low-carb diet...sorry!
