im gettin married next month and my fiancee is a us citizen im from the philippines, do any of you know how we can speed up the process on the paper work so i can be with him in the us in just a short time? thanks

I don't think there is a way to speed up the process, but you can hire an immigration attorney to make sure the papers you file are OK, and they not going to be the cause of delay. You should expect to be apart for about 6 months. Good luck!

in my case: i filed out my husbands papers at the embassy in his home contry. filed them out there and then they interview my husband after a month. then scheduled an appoitment to come to the embassy and see if he got his visa or not. which he did. this was all between May 2005 and Sept 2005. after he got his visa we had our wedding there and both came back to the USA together. it was so wonderful how everything went so smothly.

Ask your finacee to secure the services of an immigration lawyer in the USA.
