I just wish to delete all previously searched sites so that they don't pop up on the drop down menu the moment I start typing a letter that webpage is starting with.I want to get rid of it totally.Are there any IT guys/girls out there that can solve my problem?

go to the explorer icon, right click, open properties, delete history

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Under History, empty the History folder, click Clear History. This will temporarily free up disk space on your computer.
This shall clear the history of previously visited websites and these shall not pop up. This shall solve your problem.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools menu, in that click internet options
3. You can see "delete" in browsing history
4. Click that
5. It will ask u to delete what "temporary internet files, cookies, history, form data, password.
6. To the end there will be an option called Delete all
7. Just cick that
8. Now close and open the internet explorer.
Another one thing which may help u as well,
In the same internet options,there is an option to set home page, in it just choose "use blank" as ur home page.

IF NOTHING IS WORKED OUT FOR U JUST TRY THIS SIMPLE METHOD
Just type the letter on that search box and Press the Keyboard's DOWN ARROW KEY Then Press The DELETE key on the Keyboard. Like this u just keep on deleting all the searched objects until it gets over
I think now u can search what ever u want

You just go to tools at the top of the screen. Click on internet options. Click on delete files. Click on delet cookies. Then click on clear history. You can also indicate here how many days you wish to keep the history. Then just click OK and its done!

If you right click on your internet explorer icon on desktop, the drop down menu will say properties - if you click this there will be a menu entry called browsing history and you can then delete history as appropriate.

hai,
i suggest u clear the cookies and the temp files
and even if it pops up see if any thing is installed in your computer by looking into add or remove programs
if its not there they only way to get rid of it is carefully searching it in the windows registry and deleting it.we can get some tools on net which will remove this from registry

I think there is a history setting in the internet properties bit. Right click on internet explorer. Also delete temporary internet files and cookies regularly.

lol just go to tools>>delete history, cookies and temporary internet files. Also in IE go to content>>auto complete and erase forms and uncheck the form box if google keep remember what u type

If you are using IE then follow this path: Tools, Internet Options, Content, Personal Information, Auto Complete, Clear Forms, Okay, Okay
