They won't admit it , but they respect that you pray for them..........they just don't WANT to respect you that though.
They want you down on their level
"If everyone is doing bad, it must not be bad" is the way people look at things........but there is ALWAYS that one person who wants to do good and make everyone else look bad..
Keep up the praying.......it's a good thing even if they tell you otherwise

Because you cannot seem to get it through your thick head that when you tell someone you are going to pray for them and they are not a believer that is like saying "I',m going to do something to you that I know you don't like and don't want, and even find offensive, because I am heartless and thoughtless and don't care about anyones thoughts or feelings other than my own. Because I am right and you are wrong, it HAS to be that way because if you were right that would mean I was wrong"
In other words you are NOT a soldier of God at all, you are simply a closed minded opinionated uncaring person. If you don'tt like people calling you names, then protect yourself by keeping your mouth shut.

The Bible says in the latter days there will be a great falling away [from the church]. If people are acting 'sour' towards you for merely stating you will pray for them, doesn't that tell you that yes they do need your prayers?
No one can stop you from praying, and ALL of us can use and need prayers.

Why are you praying for them? To get their acceptance or gratitude?
Perhaps you should pray for them and not worry about them thanking you and appreciating what you do. Your screen name lets them know (makes them think) that you are a Christian.
OK, so now I looked at your past questions and figure you probably aren't an understanding disciple of Christ. (not that I'm judging you) and figure that you are just out to make Christianity look bad. Sorry I answered.

Kid, perhaps you're unaware that we can simply click on your name here and see all the "questions" that you've asked. These include one in which you pray to god to strike down those of us who don't believe, and another little antiAmerican gem in which you suggest giving liberals over to al Qaeda.
People are calling you names because you deserve it, and this current question's premise is simply a lie. It's WAY too late for you to play the victim here.

Well, to put it simply, the message of the Cross is foolishness to them, as the Bible says, and as I've been told numerous times, praying for them is an offense to them, as their neither feel they need it or want it.
Your best bet is to pray for them without making mention of it, so their hostilities do not grow against you, and stamping out any seed you might have planted within them.

There is plenty of room for everyone. I get slammed from the left for having Christian values, then get slammed from the right, because I an too liberal and questioning. Hang in there, sweetie!
Oh Dang! I just checked your q&a too. Yeah....you are nuts. I don't know the god you pray to, but my God doesn't listen to crazies who want to kill people, and wish for wars, and catastrophic events. He wants the meek to inherit the earth!

Well I'm a Muslim and God taught me to pray to everyone Muslim Christian Jew or any other
I think that's better than just praying just to the people who believe in what I believe in
