No, you need to continually practice, if you don't have a good teacher or good starting point you can't improve in a week and half.

For most people and even for the pros, consistency is NOT a sure thing.
So it's possible that in a week and a half, it will be a week where you can hit properly.
From my personal experience and what I observe from others, it's not that realistic but unless you try, you will never know right?

Unless you are a one in a million exceptional talent. there is no chance. Many people have played for years taken numerous lessons, bought the highest price equipment and are still horrible. You could learn to putt in a week and a half...

Golf is a lifetime sport and no one stops learning, even the pros. But in answer to your question, if you are average it should take you at least two years to become completely horrible.

Took me ten years to fully "figure it out". If you are athletic and motivated you can be reasonably bad (ie 105) in a few months. Otherwise, no.
