As an accomplished tosser, I usually make salad as an accompaniment to a meal. The basics consist of the usual suspects;
Lettuce (iceberg)
Tomato
Spring onions (fine sliced)
Cucumber
Peppers
Carrot (grated or v. fine chopped)

If making for a light meal / snack, you can't go wrong with some cheese & ham.

Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar to taste and "toss"

I usually through in what ever's in the fridge, lettuce, pepper, onion, sweetcorn, leek, cheese (just a small bit though!) maybe even some fried up chicken and a bit of dressing :-) x

Oh sorry, I misunderstood the question to be rude. Um, in that case try a nice honey and musterd dressing.
