Heaven Help Us
A man arrives at the gates of heaven.
"Religion?" St. Peter asks.
"Methodist," the man replies.
St. Peter looks down his list. "Go to Room 24, but be very quiet as you pass Room 8."
Another man steps up from behind the first.
"Religion?"
"Catholic."
"Go to Room 18, but be very quiet as you pass Room 8," St. Peter says.
A third man arrives at the gates.
"Religion?"
"Jewish."
"Go to Room 11, but be very quiet as you pass Room 8."
The Jewish man is perplexed. "I can understand there being different rooms for different religions, but why must I be quiet when I pass Room 8?"
"Well," St. Peter says, "the Fundamentalist Christians are in Room 8, and they think they're the only ones here."

lmao. Just gotta love the answers you must have known you were gonna get, man. "Oh but only one is REAL"...
So we have two possible realities here. Either there'e only one real god but all these other people got pretty much the same idea of non-corporeal entities either creating the world, or maintaining various natural elements - fire gods, water gods etc - just entirely by chance, and they're all wrong, the heathens!
Or...now just hear me out here...
They're ALL invented by human beings - yes, even the one you think is real - in an ego-driven quest to prove that human beings have a greater universal destiny than as the shoe-wearing virus we seem to be.
Why not pick a god for each day of the week - Saturn for Saturday, obviously, Odin for Wednesday, Thor for Thursday. hell, why not worship the Roman Emperor Augustus in August, he was made a god. Mars, god of war, in March - on the proviso that you're banned from making war during any other month? and on it goes. Plenty of imaginary friends out there to choose from, let's have a pantheonic ball!

Good question. Im guessing that those who believe in just one will say that all the other gods are false gods or some such, even though they would be insulting everyone who believes in some other god or goddess. Of course, Im not sure if they would care if they were insulting others, because of their strong belief that their god is the "one true god".
Im pretty sure they would care quite a bit if the roles were reversed though. Say someone said that the christian god (oops, did I just mention something I shouldnt have?) was a false god. What would happen then? Would the christians accept that statement, even though they expect those who believe in other gods to do the same?

Look here son, if certain people say that they have Greek Gods for example, this doesn't mean that these Greek Gods exist.
There is one and only one GOD "ALLAH" who is the creator of everything. OK.
Believe in that before it's too late.

I don't limit myself. I am a polytheist and I worship Celtic deities. I believe that other deities exist even though I may not worship them.

Those that you have listed are false gods---they are all demons controlled by the devil. There is only one true God and his name is Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you.
