Hmmm... Stupid people ignore wisdom. You would know that if you read the bible. And fools pass judgment before they know the full understanding. Have you ever studied the bible to find out how much life guiding wisdom there is in there? People are always searching for that guide to life that has all of the answers... The bible has answers for every situation you can think of. Since when is seeking wisdom a sign of weakness and stupidity?
There is strength in self control, not weakness. I probably have more physical strength than most people on this forum. I could probably beat up most people that post here. However, my true strength is displayed through my self control.
I grew up a street fighter and I weigh 200 lbs, can bench press 315 for 10 reps and I can squat 350 for 15 reps. Believe me, I'm not a weak person.
Any martial arts master will tell you that true strength lies in your ability to maintain control in any situation. The bible gives you that control.
Since you can't seem to contain your idiotic statements, you have displayed true weakness through your stupidity.

So should I call you weak and stupid for going to a source of comfort and strength as well?
Isn't using a psychiatrist another venue that makes a person weak and stupid? How about going to your mother or writing out your problems...
Isn't is just as weak and stupid to condemn the very thing that strengthens and helps a person grow and become stronger?

Stupid maybe, weak in their faith yeah. The bible is just to comfort them. The bible is man made. What ever mistake is in there, can you imagine how many christians have already made the same mistake over and over. Nothing against christians.

I am a christian and yes at times I am weak. I read my Bible and
pray to recieve strenghten from God when I am weak. When I am uncertain I also read the Bible and pray. Not using the resources available to me in times of trouble would make me stupid. I pray and ask God for help and guidance through out the day everyday. Reading the word of God helps me grow and does give comfort.

How do you explain weak and stupid? people can say that about almost every religions out there, and they turn to there holy book or person when frightened or confused.
But the Bible does say that Christian need not look to the bible for answer but to GOD himself. That is where I stand.

Technically, seven, even if i'm a lot more beneficial studious on Monday - Friday interior the morning - similar with prayer. Saturday it truly is lite, because i'm busy with "Honey-do's" or the occasional outreach, and Sunday I listen solid topical preaching. I attend a "Pentecostal" non-denominational Church, yet am faraway from 'cookie cutter' Pentecostal - it truly is only the position God has me. i imagine service to the body and evangelism take precedent over doctrine, and so I learn not user-friendly on my own. i trust STRONGLY, I mean STRONGLY, that maximum in my neck of the woods do not study their Bibles a lot, and that shocks me and saddens me. it truly is not a lot the hours/time spent, yet more beneficial a element on my area the position i'm wondering: "Do those people particularly trust it really is God's be conscious ?" humorous element in spite of the reality that - I went 10 days without examining even as on vacation very last 12 months. after I were given abode, i became conquer with guilt, and vowed by no ability to study the newpaper on the practice back, yet instead study my Bible. someone said me examining my Bible, and felt extra about introduce themselves as a fellow believer. That relationship spawned a revival in my stroll with the Lord far, far more beneficial than i might want to've imagined. So God moved by ability of my non everlasting "apathy" for examining His be conscious. humorous how that works. ======================================... Edit: Wow, TucsonRN - i'm inspired - arising on 10 years of examining the Bible by ability of each and every 12 months - I did it once in 23 yrs of being a Christian - i might want to like to listen for your testimony - my spouse and pastor were also kept at 7 - some say it truly is way less than the so-talked about as "Age of responsibility"

Weak? No, misinformed....yes. As anyone would be that has been told what to believe and was then fed a bunch of lies, just so that the men that have the control, can keep a few more 'sheep in their flocks'.....the only way to get past this is to study all religions, and decide for yourself if you acctually have faith at all......being blindly faithful is so much worse than not having any.
