if she tries new recipes and most of what she cooks taste and looks good.if you r the guy married to her than as long as she makes you happy with her meals then she is a good cook.Remember:you never bite the hand that feeds ya.

Well,
1) if she knows chili isn't made with Pork N' Beans
2) if most of what she cooks isn't overcooked
3) if she knows how to fry chicken and the crust is still on
4) if she can cook just about anything, and have it come out at least tolerable
5) if you don't eat out more than once a week

I'm a man and an excellent chef. I teach pastry classes. So I take umbrage at your narrow minded question. A single woman can also be an excellent cook. A marriage license does not guarantee culinary skill.
