Bubblegum, of any type or variety.
I used to love 'rubble-gum' - little pieces of chewy goodness, dyed different colours and packed with E-numbers.
My mam banned me from having it after I shoved a few green pieces up my nose (to blow them out and eat them & disgust my peers!) but I breathed in and a few bits got stuck in my sinuses.
I think it went out of production before I was allowed / old enough to have it again. *sob*

Also those candy necklace / bracelet things, I still buy those for my nieces because they make fantastic projectiles. My antics resulted in them being banned from two schools..

Rainbow drops, shrimps and pear drops! Every time I go home to England I race to an old fashioned sweet shop on Steep Hill in Lincoln and stand inside wide eyed with excitement like a small child. The I buy up the place!!!
Nothing beats the look and smell of old fashioned sweets out of bell jars.....

parma violets, rainbow drops, strawberry laces, any jelly sweets, chocolate honeycomb, highland toffees, wine gums, fruit pastels, tutti fruity, and I think they were called frosties or something similar they were hard sweets covered in sugar and cost 10p a pack! Sweets were a rare treat so anything was great, probably why im still addicted to sweets today!

There were these lollypops that were white and had a clear plastic wrapper on with little blue pics of animals going around the outside. I cant remember what they were called but I was addicted to them. I also liked "sweetie tobacco" which though in todays touchy feely PC society sounds gross was actualy really nice - it was shreds of coconut coated in a sweet covering (that was brown) so that it looked like pipe tobacco.

Black jacks and midget gems oh and those pink shrimpy things, theres a pomme sweet shop close to where I live in aus, i took my little nephews there for a big spend up and a trip down memory lane, I was amazed how sweet and sickly they were compared to my memory of them.

There was a chocolate bar that is sadly no longer available called Cabana. It was shaped like a boost bar but had coconut ice with cherry pieces in the centre, wrapped in caramel and then covered in chocolate. Damn I miss them. Drooooollll!

Hi,

Only chocolate as i did not like the sweets when i was a child. It maybe started because my mother was taking care of our teeth at the first place, then we were not really allowed of sweets.
