I mean the part of her performance where she is pretending to be crucified and she is wearing a crown of thorns.

Madonna isn't even a christian! She believes in kaballah or whatever it's called.

She said that Jesus wouldn't mind - how does she know that?

Madonna is part of the show-business. The more she attracts people's attention (even people like you who would be negatively impressed) - the better! Show-business is her true religion. She doesn't know what Jesus would think about it but talking about him does not contradict her religion in any way. On the contrary - she is sure to grab Christians' and anti-Christians' attention. And so she does!
In my opinion everyone has the right to choose who and what to believe in and be ready to take the responsibilities of their choice - right or wrong as it may turn to be in the end.
Madonna is just an entertainer - how can a true believer be really insulted by whatever she says or does? If I were you, I would just ignore her acts and statements, because I know I am not the one to judge her and as I already mentioned everybody will get what they deserve in the end, don't you agree? The more you make a fuss about what Madonna did, the more you actually encourage her to go on. So if you want a change, just ignore. Be tolerant. Jesus was, wasn't he?
And after all, speculative and provocative as Madonna's statement is, it's not devoid of truth - Jesus is far too good, wise and forgiving to feel insulted by somebody's lack of tactfulness...
Agree?

Why should i be insulted? she is a performer, and all she is doing is performing for her fans, if it insults you so much why do you even both to have anything to with what she does? Get over it, She has been Catholic at some point in her life, and she is allowed her beliefs.......... stop being a hypocrite and judging others and just live your life for christ sake!!!

And just as a point of reference i am not religious, nor am i a fan of Madonna, i just dont like people judging what the the rest of th world does, what right does any of us have to judge and tell others what they should believe?

Madonna is not a Kabbalist! One must study the Torah for many years before studying Kabbala. She has been drawn into a cult, and is nothing but a laughing matter.

Don't worry it's all for publicity! She hasn't got many performing years left! It will be 17 more years until she starts drawing her state pension (if she's entitled).

I think that people take inspirational images way to far.Who cares what she does?Is your faith affected by what she does?If it is then you have a problem not her.Why get offended at everything? If you don't like it don't watch it.
