No, they fear god because he has the power to give life and take life, i would think. But i don't fear God like that, i know he loves me and wants what is best for me, so why should anyone fear god? I think that is meant for sinners to fear God,not Christians. Growing up i heard things like you should fear god and i thank that was because they wanted you to fear him if you was a sinner cause you know were sinners go ! And you didn't want to go there, so you feared God. Not just death. So i think they Fear God more !

No. Fearing death is a little silly to some degree as everyone will die; it is just a question of when. The bigger fear is being alive and seperated from God. That is a very scary thing.

The word FEAR used in this context has nothing to do with being afraid. To fear God means to obey God.

To "Fear" God, in the Bible, means to hold God with Reverance and Respect. The "Fear" of death is to be afraid of death, something a "True" born again Christian doesn't have to suffer about. Let me put it this way, for me to die is like walking in and taking my shirt off, that's it!! No more, no less. I am no longer "Afraid" of my own death, Jesus Christ will be there to take me home. What about you??

The word "fear" in the Christian bible is an old Elizabethean English term like "withersoever", "thou", "thee", and "want". The lord is my shepard, I shall not "want" means... "I shall lack (or want) nothing (because He provides everything as a shepard does for his sheep). We simply do not talk the same way today.
Some people are silly enough to actually believe that God only speaks Elizabethean English. They think it is a sin to translate "you" instead of "thou", or "where ever", instead of "whithersoever", or "however" instead of "albeit".
Albeit, God speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, English, Thai, Taglog, Zulu, Hindi, German, and all the other languages that have been spoken thoughout time.
To fear God in Elizabethean English means to revere or honor him. It does not mean to be afraid of him. Someone who truly knows God has no right to be afraid of death. Fearing death is as silly as an actor dying of fright on stage because someone shot him with a blank gun. We will all die. Why fear it?

The operative word here is "fear".And I think people fear God and death and they do this because religions have created that fear to keep people faithful. But I think the fear of death is the origin of the fear of God.When you don't know what is beyond death then you are willing to accept the best explanation of what lies beyond death and how to make it a good experience.By fearing God.It's one of the biggest scams of the greatest illusionists in the world. The religion founders.

Fearing death does not mean you fear God.
To fear God means just that.
Only the evil fear God and they should too. But for those who are not evil then one shouldn't fear God for God loves us all and why fear when love waits for us?
God does not kill, death comes natural or killed by someone else and that person who kills is evil. God would never harm any of those who believe in Him or love Him.
Would you harm any of your children? Do you love your children?
We are God's children and He loves us dearly so we need not fear Him.

We should fear God Almighty as a taqwa or a devotion to Allah. We should obey to all of Allah's prohibitions and Allah's instructionsWe are afraid if we disobey it because Allah has a hard punishment and we can be put to hell after our deaths. It does not mean that we fear death.Fear or unfear/brave we can not put aside death. It will come to us in a certain time.We can not delayed it.God has a decree and this is decided when we were in the wombs of our mothers. But we do not know it.

No, it means we fear God.
Who fears death? Why? There's nothing you can do to stop it, we're all going to die, so what's the point of being afraid of it?
