I am assuming you are using Windows. It depends on what version of windows you are running, most likely it is in your C:\Windows\System folder. An easy way to find it is to double click on My Computer, double click on the C drive, then hit F3, this will bring up a search window. Type in temp and hit enter. It will find any files or folders that have the word temp in it. Or you can just search for the name of the file here. Often temp folders are named tmp instead of temp.

Try saving the attachment again, but this time save it to a folder in your My Documents, using the Browse button on the Save dialogue. That would be easier.

Probably the easiest method is to click the Start button at the bottom left of the screen, select Documents, your document should be on the list just click on it.

If u r using Windows XP use this
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp
Some times the second folder name may not be "Administrator"
may be ur name, if it is like that just open that folder and follow th rest
for example
C:\Documents and Settings\John\Local Settings\Temp

Click on Start. Then click on Find. Select Files and Folders.
Type the file name and select the drive in which it was stored and then click find now.
If you do not know the file name, type *.tmp and then click find now. All the temporary files will be displayed. Double click on
the file you want.
