i know the law has changed the you cannot exchange goods unless the are faulty and my straighteners are. i bought last week lostr the receipt but they are faulty and from argos can anyone help. i dont know wether or not i can exchange them?

Argos are usually good about replacing things, so try them . the goods are not fit for the purpose they were sold so you will get a replacement if Argos are stroppy about the receipt contact manufacturer, they don't like to think that news of their stuff breaking gets about so they will replace them.

I think you need to prove that you bought them from within a certain amount of time and from that particular store. The receipt would help but I'm sure the best thing you can do would be to visit the store and get it from the horses mouth.

If you lost the proof of purchase it might be hard to exchange, unless the shop did it out of 'good will'.

easy one, if only a week old ,go buy another set and swop them take faulty ones straight back ,get a refund

Try asking the store, most everyone here doens't know where you bought them.

yes never dry your hair in the shower its the law also it might b the fact you bought currling tongs insted of straightners ,is your hair going curly ?????
